Wizards Make Good Wedding Guests
After our run-in with a once-in-a-century New Orleans blizzard this January, we were a little reticent about sneaking back down for a 24-hour trip during one of our busiest times of the year.
But, when friends ask you for some sorcerous wedding support, you can’t say no.
We applaud their choice to ban phones at their wedding, but it means we only have pictures of the aftermath. Those, in turn, pose the question – does a destination wedding even count if someone doesn’t end up in a bathtub?
This was also a fun opportunity for us to put together the kind of “cost-is-no-object” talisman that we haven’t made in a while. This couple needs no help, but we offered them some anyway, sealed in a centuries old silver chalice.
