Augur has always been a very private person. That isn’t necessarily bad, but it has, on occasion, been lonely.
It has been a big and wonderful change for him to interact with thousands of people in the shop, and for so many of them to have become friends.
It has made him a happier person.
Every visit to the shop, every bit of praise about the cabinets, and every request for a book recommendation is a gift that he treasures.
