We don’t need to enumerate all the ominous tidings. The news-entertainment-social media complex ensures that it is impossible to look away from the horrors. After all, if we looked away we might miss an advertisement.

In between the ads there is an aggregate picture of a world ruled by sociopaths trying to wreck civilization to better live out delusional fantasies where they rule the wasteland as messianic servants of robot gods . . . or something.

It’s grim.

Paradoxically, we’ve been comforted by the fact that almost everyone is feeling it.

We talk to a lot of people, and right now the outrage at endless war, total surveillance, and environmental horror seems universal.

All of which is just to remind everyone (and ourselves) not to give up hope on each other, or to give in to despair.

Stay angry at the corrupt and incompetent broligarchy trying to destroy the world, and know that you’re not alone.

Also, y’know, vote.
