Poison Apple Print Shop

The Folk (Art) Witchcraft of Adrienne Rozzi
Folk Witchcraft is having a moment.
While this is true for the magical practice, it is more generally true of the aesthetic.
It is a magpie look of dried flower garlands strung across broken handmade toys and of ragged songbirds kept in no cage. Its lines are coarse, but precise. Its shadows are deep, but inviting. It promises ancient wisdoms and blasphemous secrets, but only after a nice cup of herbal tea and freshly baked bread soaked in honey butter delivered by a man who never speaks.
If you’re having trouble visualizing what we’re talking about, point your eyes toward Poison Apple Print Shop. No one captures the essence of the aesthetic like Adrienne Rozzi.
Her prints look like they were made in a chicken-legged woodshop of crumbling chestnut that smells of cinnamon and grave dirt, by a woman who speaks to frogs and has a king’s heart in a wax-stoppered jar.
And, who knows? Maybe they were.
We are incredibly honored that Adrienne has given permission for us to stock her work. We’re going to primarily focus on her papercrafts, but will have a few of her textiles as well.
She’s understandably quite busy, but occasionally produces breathtaking custom altar cloths for persistent customers. We’re happy to put in a good word for you.
In the meantime, would you like to taste one of our apples?
